Chambers & Partners, a UK-based famous legal rating agency, has announced its updated annual ranking of China Mainland law firms in the newly-released directory “Chamber Asia 2009 – Asia’s Leading Lawyers for Business”. Run Ming is nominated and recommended in several fields, including Banking & Finance, Corporate/M&A and Tax. Run Ming’s three partners, Mr. Wang Yadong , Mr. Liu Yi and Mr. Ron Ma, gain their “Leading Individual” rankings in the Intellectual Property, Corporate/M&A and Banking & Finance, and Tax entries respectively.

Chambers & Partners ranks the firms and individuals based on a number of surveys and interviews independently conducted with clients. As quoted by Chambers Asia 2009, the clients praised that Mr. Wang Yadong is “sharp and to the point with his advice” and has “sophisticated understanding of the PRC legal system”; Mr. Liu Yi is “incredibly smart” and Mr. Ron Ma “always pays attention to the things you’ve never even thought about”.
