The Asia M&A Forum 2009, sponsored by International Financial Law Review (“IFLR”) in association with Inter-Pacific Bar Association, was held on March 3 & 4, 2009 at the Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong.  Run Ming Law Office is one of the several Chinese law firms invited by this forum.

The main topic of this forum is “Opportunities in Distress”.  Run Ming’s partners, Liu Yi, Gavin Wang, Sun Hui, Philips Ding, and associate, Chris Zhu, participated and had a deeper discussion regarding the corporate M&A issues in the current economic downturn with the delegates from multinational corporations, international banks, private equity funds and other international or regional institutions.  Mr. Liu Yi, Run Ming’s Executive Partners, attended and spoke on the China-related panel, with the topic “Opportunities and Challenges in Downturns”.
