Professional Experience
From 1998 to 2000, Ms. Kuang worked at Beijing No. 2 Intermediate People's Court, where a large number of foreign related cases were heard and tried. During this period, Ms. Kuang assisted two judges in handling hundreds of business cases and acquired invaluable knowledge and experience in litigation.
Ms. Kuang joined Jun He Law Offices in 2003 and later joined HanKun Law Offices as a senior attorney. She provided legal services for well known foreign corporations and specialized in dispute resolution and intellectual property. The cases she dealt with included product quality, trademark dispute, domain name dispute, copyright infringement, trade secret, anti-unfair competition, international trade, real estate sale/leasing, as well as damages claim, the special areas of which relate to retailing, trade, electronics and vehicle manufacturing, high-tech software and real estate. As attorney or as a main team member, Ms. Kuang has participated in several important influential cases in China, including the unfair competition litigation brought by GM against Chery Automobile, as well as the case brought by Burberry and four other world renowned fashion brands against Beijing's Silk Street market for trademark infringement.
Apart from dispute resolution, Ms. Kuang also provided a substantial amount of legal services with respect to retailing, real estate, human resources and liquidation in the course of foreign investment. She has handled multiple legal issues for a world leading retailer in its real estate investment and construction. Ms. Kuang has a good sense and capacity in practicing law; her preciseness and efficiency in work has been recognized both by senior partners in the law firm as well as clients.
Ms. Kuang was invited in at the foundation of Runbo Law Firm in October 2006 and then in 2007, when Yi Liu, together with his team from the former Junyi Law Office, merged with Runbo Law Firm, Ms. Kuang joined the newly-named Run Ming Law Office.
Education
Ms. Kuang graduated from Peking University Faculty of Law with an LL.B degree majoring in Economic Law & International Economic Law in 1998.
