Professional Experience
Mr. Qin began practicing law in 1999. He specializes in foreign related dispute resolution, international trade and foreign direct investment. In December 2006, Mr. Qin joined Runbo Law Firm as a senior lawyer and in April 2007 became a partner in Runbo. In 2007, Yi Liu, together with his team from the former Junyi Law Office, merged with Runbo Law Firm, with Mr. Qin joining the newly- named Run Ming Law Office.
As legal counsel to foreign investment enterprises, he has successfully handled several litigation and arbitration cases. The types of disputes he has handled include banking, copyright infringement, international trade etc. involving a broad range of industries such as banking, retail, international trade, electronic products manufacturing etc. Due to his professionalism in those cases, he was praised by clients for his sound legal knowledge, the ability to deal with the issues independently as well as thorough and efficient working.
While focusing on dispute resolutions with foreign elements, Mr. Qin also carried out an in-depth study on various issues regarding international trade, publishing an article entitled "New Rules for Resolving L/C Disputes in China" on Mondaq (an international legal website) in 2006. He had provided legal services for several complex international trade projects as well as participating in on-site project investigations and negotiations.
Mr. Qin has also accumulated tremendous experience in foreign direct investment during his practice. He provided legal services to several foreign direct investment projects, including investment structure design, due diligence, drafting and reviewing related agreements, and participating in negotiations.
Education
Mr. Qin graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University with a bachelor's degree in English in 1999.
In 2003, Mr.Qin graduated from China University of Political Science and Law and obtained his LLM degree in international business law.
