Professional Experience
Ms. Lv joined King & Wood, China ("King & Wood") after finishing her master's degree overseas. She specializes in foreign investment, merger and acquisition, corporate matters, and securities. In April 2007, Ms. Lv joined Run Ming Law Office.
While at King & Wood, Ms. Lv represented various domestic and overseas companies in connection with their direct investments, restructuring, IPO, merger and acquisition activities in China, involving various industries including real estate, energy, manufacturing, household appliances, pharmaceuticals, printing, banking, drinks, the Internet sector, etc. Ms. Lv has provided her clients with diverse legal services including transaction structure design, participating in negotiations between the target company and the investor, due diligence on the target company, drafting various legal documents necessary for the transaction required by the Chinese side, preparation of legal advice required by relevant regulatory authorities/related parties to the transaction, coordination with relevant agencies for the transaction, assisting clients in proceeding with various compulsory formalities with regulatory authorities, and providing clients with advice regarding legal matters arising from the transaction.
Ms. Lv also serves as outside counsel for a number of domestic and foreign investment companies in legal documents drafting, risk management and company matters solution.
Ms. Lv is experienced in dispute resolutions. Before practicing as a lawyer,
Ms. Lv was a judge in a District Court of an open market coastal city. During her time abroad, Ms. Lv focused on international commercial litigation and arbitration and gained a degree of experience.
Education
Ms. Lv obtained her LL.B degree from the Northwest Institute of Law & Political Science in 2000 and her MBL (Master of Business Law) from the University of Sydney Law School in 2005.
