Professional Experience
Ms. Li worked as a senior legal Counsel for Square Enix China Co., Ltd., a Chinese subsidiary of Square Enix Co., Ltd., for five years. Prior to that, she worked as in-house counsel for a retailing equity joint venture in Beijing. In November 2007, Ms. Li joined the Run Ming Law Office.
At Square Enix China, Ms. Li handled a number of corporate legal affairs, particularly in the fields of value-added telecom business, on-line gaming, etc. She was also involved in intellectual property protection and investment projects. Ms. Li drafted various legal documents, reviewed contracts and represented the company in business negotiations. She also provided legal analysis from China law regulatory perspectives for strategic investment or company restructuring plans, including market entrance analysis (e.g. value-added telecom marketing, press service, internet culture services, etc.) and legal due diligence advice. Ms. Li was also in charge of other routine legal matters, e.g. handling litigation and disputes, dealing with intellectual property registrations; handling other registrations and procedural work, setting up internal legal document review systems, legal training, organizing legal researches , etc.
With her expertise in the value-added telecom field, Ms. Li has a deepinsight into and rich experience of the kinds of legal issues which may occur in this area. Her knowledge and skills in intellectual property protection and corporate fields also lay solid foundations for her professional law practice and contribute much to Run Ming's legal services.
Furthermore, due to her long-term career as in-house counsel, Ms. Li has a special understanding of the needs of corporate clients and their requirements. She is also capable of balancing the legal risks and economic interests of a company and help clients to gain their commercial goals more safely and efficiently.
Education
Ms. Li graduated from the Peking University Law School as a Bachelor of Law, focusing on Economic Law and International Economic Law in 1998. |
