Professional Experience
Mr. TAKAAKI TAKEUCHI worked with Nomura Securities Co. (in Tokyo) as a financial research analyst in April 1984. In January 1987 he was promoted to assistant vice president of Equity Department of Nomura Canada, Inc. and vice president of Institutional Sales Department of Nomura Securities International, Inc (New York, U.S.A.) in December 1990.
In July 1993, Mr. TAKAAKI TAKEUCHI joined investment consulting company, Wellington Management Company (Boston, U.S.A) as Director of Asian Investments. He is the first Japanese employee hired by the company.
After returning to Tokyo in August 1996, Mr. TAKAAKI TAKEUCHI worked with Goldman Sachs Asset Management, UBS (Trust & Banking) Limited, Scudder Investment Japan, Inc. and Prudential Financial Advisors Securities Co., Ltd. as vice president, executive director, managing director and president and chief executive officer respectively. Because of Mr. TAKAAKI TAKEUCHIĄ¯s work, Goldman Sachs Asset Management became the top non-Japanese investment trust company in Japan in terms of mutual fund assets gathered.
In June 2003, Mr. TAKAAKI TAKEUCHI launched his own investment company.
Mr. TAKAAKI TAKEUCHI joined Run Ming Law Office as a senior advisor on 1st January 2008.
Education
Mr. TAKAAKI TAKEUCHI began his studies at Williams College (Massachusetts, U.S.A.) in September 1980 and obtained his Bachelor degree in both economics and psychology in January 1984. During his studies there, he also gained credits from Stanford University, University of California¨CBerkeley and Harvard University respectively. |
