Professional Experience
From the end of 2003, Ms. Zhang worked in the legal department of Square-Enix China Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Square-Enix Co., Ltd..
Her work covered: internet culture services, mainly relating to online gaming; value-added telecom business; intellectual property protection, particularly relating to the internet and affairs in respect of press service; foreign direct investment projects etc. In the field of value-added telecom business, she gained experience through her long-term work in designing business frameworks to provide value-added telecom services to internet and mobile communication networks as well as drafting relevant contracts.
In the company's legal department Ms. Zhang engaged mainly in the company's internal legal affairs, including: preliminary drafting or examining contracts and other legal documents; providing legal reasoning and consultation under the guidance of the legal director; assisting in preparing legal opinions on legal problems in respect of daily business; analyzing Chinese regulations and policies in respect of value-added telecoms, press service and internet culture services under the guidance of the legal director; and assisting the same in handling litigation and disputes; assisting in dealing with intellectual property filings; handling registrations and annual examinations of business and MII licenses; participating in formulating and executing internal contract administration and working process; providing legal training; organizing research and discussions on special legal issues etc..

Ms. Zhang graduated from the Peking University Law School with a Bachelor Degree in Law in 2004. |
