Professional Experience
Mr. Ding Zhenyu worked in the Hong Kong offices of Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, a top Wall Street law firm and Simmons & Simmons, a leading international law firm. Before relocating to Hong Kong, Mr. Ding practiced with Fangda Partners in Shanghai. Mr. Ding joined the Shanghai office of Run Ming Law Office as a partner in January 2009.
Mr. Ding's practice encompasses general corporate and commercial matters, joint venture projects, merger & acquisition, private equity investment, initial public offering, corporate insolvency as well as regulatory advice.
Mr. Ding regularly represented multinational companies in energy and infrastructure sectors. His recent representations include:

Advised one of the largest water companies in the world on its global acquisition of water plants; |

Advised a leading investment bank on the investment structure for its toll road portfolio in China; |

Advised a European based infrastructure company on its proposed acquisition of a water purification company in China; |

Advised a middle-east based energy company on its proposed petrochemical projects in China; and |
 |
Advised an international investment company on the competitive bidding for the acquisition of five thermal power cogeneration plants in China. |
Mr. Ding also has extensive experience in capital markets works. He advised issuers and sponsors on the initial public offering and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in the sectors of real estate, telecommunication, and manufacturing of biofermentation products. His main responsibilities include provision of legal advice in relation to reorganization arrangement and compliance with regulatory requirements, review of PRC legal opinion, and drafting of prospectus and relevant transaction documents.
