Professional Experience

Chris Zhu joined Run Ming in December 2008. Prior to that, she worked with the Shanghai office of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP for more than two years and a half in the areas of merger & acquisition and foreign direct investment.

During her practice with Paul Hastings, Ms. Zhu advised reputable international clients for their acquisition of enterprises in China in various industries, including real estate, education, chemical, advertisement, etc. Her main roles and responsibilities included: drafting, translating and negotiating transaction documents in English and Chinese, conducting due diligence and drafting due diligence memoranda, conducting legal research in multiple jurisdictions, including PRC and U.S., and counseling multinational clients & coordinating with local sponsors and other third party agents in obtaining governmental approvals.

Ms. Zhu also has extensive experience in foreign direct investment. She has provided services to clients in connection with the establishment of joint ventures, WFOEs and representative offices in China.
